I, PHILIP MICHAEL JEFFERY, Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Antarctic Treaty (Environment Protection) Act 1980.

1              Name of Regulations

                These Regulations are the Antarctic Seals Conservation Repeal Regulations 2007.

2              Commencement

                These Regulations commence on the commencement of Schedule 1 to the Environment and Heritage Legislation Amendment (Antarctic Seals and Other Measures) Act 2006.

3              Repeal of Antarctic Seals Conservation Regulations 1986

                The Antarctic Seals Conservation Regulations 1986 are repealed.
