Transitional: (1) This regulation applies if an application under regulation 6.08BA for a background check in relation to the issue of a maritime security identification card (an MSIC) is made before the commencement of Schedule 1. (2) The amendments made by items [2], [3], [5], [6] and [9] of Schedule 1 do not apply in relation to the issue of the MSIC.
