I, PROFESSOR MARIE BASHIR, AC, CVO, Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the International Arbitration Act 1974.

1              Name of Regulations

                These Regulations are the International Arbitration Regulations 2011.

2              Commencement

                These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

3              Definition

                In these Regulations:

Act means the International Arbitration Act 1974.

4              Prescribed authority

                For subsections 18 (1) and (2) of the Act, the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration is prescribed.
