Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010

I, STEPHEN MICHAEL CONROY, Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, under subsection 115(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, hereby amend the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010 made under subsection 115(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

1.         Name of Notice

 

This Notice is the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010 (Amendment No. 9 of 2011).

 

2.         Commencement

 

This Notice commences on the day it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

 

3.         Definitions

 

In this Notice:

 

Principal Notice means the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010.

 

4.         Amendments

 

Substitute Items 10.2 and 10.3 of the Schedule to the Principal Notice with the following:

 

10.2     The semi-final of the Netball World Championships if it involves the senior Australian representative team selected by the All Australian Netball Association, except for a semi-final that is held as part of the 2011 World Netball Championships.

 

10.3     The final of the Netball World Championships if it involves the senior Australian representative team selected by the All Australian Netball Association, except for the final of the 2011 World Netball Championships.
